I actually watched some of Riccio's testimony on tv one day and heard how the whole story went down according to him and I must say I don't blame the jurors for not weighing much testimony because he was a terrible witness. He got names wrong, told conflicting statements and overall seemed unbelievable. The fact that video and audio won this case is important because it is not up for debate. He was there, on tape, and he has to suffer the consequences. The sentencing was strict, but would any thug, robbing someone at gunpoint and convicted of kidnapping get any lighter a sentence...?
Looks like Ricco's setup to profit off this thing went bad. Interesting how he had the recordings he did. I guess prosecutors really only want OJ and they are willing to let his accomplishes off easy for their testimony. Does seem a bit heavy of a sentence, but he had his chance and if you are going to play with fire, you may get burned. I hope he goes away for a long time. Do they allow memorabilia in prison? I am curious to see on what grounds his lawyers appeal.
Wow...what an interesting turn of events. Based up on the article and the jurors had to say based upon the evidence, it seems that O.J. got what he deserves. The only thing I'm a bit perplexed about it is the fact that he could serve up to life in prison and honestly I think that's a bit much.

I think it's really interesting that almost every juror agreed that the prosecution would NOT have won the case if it weren't for the audio and video recordings. Obviously they felt that the recordings provided the "guilty beyond a reasonable doubt". I think that's pretty big, since the jury is getting so much crap from people saying they're judging him based on his past, but they agreed that if it weren't for the recordings, they probably would have found him NOT guilty.
