Farewell, Fall 2013 Classes!

As we celebrate the end of the fall semester, I'd like to leave you with a few thoughts as I bid you farewell.

First, thank you very much for your participation on this blog. I found your comments to be especially thoughtful and insightful, and I enjoyed reading them. I especially enjoyed reading your insights about violence in society and on the dispute between the Beastie Boys and GoldiBlox.

I hope you can use what you've learned about media law and ethics to apply to your career. You can also evaluate the performance of the news media and determine if they acted ethically, or not.

Lastly, this is always a bittersweet time of the semester for me because, like you, I am weary from the semester and need my rest, but I also know that I'll miss you and our discussions. I'm sure something will happen in the news that will make me pause and think to myself, "I can't wait to share this with my class... oh, wait." Sad face.

But let's not end on a downer! It's been an exceptionally good semester. Thanks for your participation. Best wishes to a great winter break and beyond!

I did it. I fucked the test. I just wish that I could have fucked the other tests as hard as I fucked the last one. I barley made it but you were right... most students rise to the occasion in the end. I had a blast in the class and I think that if I could make it then anyone can. But it's very true that you must work hard.

Cheers!
