As we celebrate the end of the spring semester, I'd like to leave you with a few thoughts as I bid you farewell.
First, thank you very much for your participation on this blog. I found
your comments to be especially thoughtful and insightful, and I enjoyed
reading them. I especially enjoyed reading your comments about the 50th anniversary of the Sullivan decision, Lessig's TED talk and more. Your perspectives allowed me to consider these concepts through your fresh eyes.
I hope you can use what you've learned about Media Law and Ethics to
apply to your career. You can also evaluate the performance of the news
media and determine if they acted ethically, or not.
Lastly, this is always a bittersweet time of the semester for me
because, like you, I am weary from the semester and need my rest, but I
also know that I'll miss you and our discussions. I'm sure something
will happen in the news that will make me pause and think to myself, "I
can't wait to share this with my class... oh, wait." Sad face.
But let's not end on a downer! It's been a lot of fun this semester.
Thanks for your participation. Best wishes for a great summer and
beyond!

I never imagined I would have enjoyed your class as much as I DID! At the beginning of the semester, I was nervous about the class. Fearful the information would be way over my head and hard to comprehend.
Fear not! You've been an absolute joy and made the class easy as pie.
Thanks to YOU!
